MPEG-4 video transmission over Internet
Abstract
This paper covers new emerging areas of the MPEG-4 standard for multimedia content-based coding, multimedia communications and Internet technologies. First of all, it was necessary to identify key points of MPEG-4 architecture and transport mechanism. After that, we analyze current status of architectural considerations of MPEG-4 video transmission over the Internet.
