Estudio contrastivo de algunas perífrasis de gerundio en español e italiano

Abstract

Il presente lavoro ha lo scopo di dimostrare come l’italiano e lo spagnolo, pur essendo lingue caratterizzate da una simmetria strutturale per cui si puo affermare che codificano in maniera molto simile le differenziazioni di tempo, modo, aspetto e azione, mostrano una certa divergenza nell’uso di alcune forme verbali come, per esempio, le costruzioni gerundive. Dopo un breve esame sull’uso del gerundio nelle due lingue, si dedichera particolare attenzione ad alcune perifrasi gerundive in spagnolo che trovano un corrispondente in costruzioni diverse e non sempre perifrastiche in italiano. The present work aims to demonstrate how Italian and Spanish, which are languages characterized by a structural symmetry, so that the differences of tenses, manners, aspects and actions are codified in a very similar way, also reveal particular divergences in the use of some verbal forms like, for instance, the gerundive constructions. After considering the use of the gerund in both languages, attention will be put on some Spanish gerundive periphrasis that can be translated into Italian by using different constructions.
