This paper considers Body Sensor Networks (BSNs) with energy harvesting and develops efficient resource allocation strategies for such networks. In order to provide a sustainable, highquality service as well as dealing with the heterogeneity problem of BSNs, an optimal transmission power and time slots allocation strategy is formulated and solved using Markov Decision Process (MDP) method. The long term system performance is also analyzed based on the energy harvesting model and packet arrival model. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy to provide sustainable, high-quality and high availability service.
