Abstract An abrupt decrease of the anomalously large dielectric constant at about 100 K in the ferroelectric phase, called domain freezing, was observed in monoclinic CsH2PO4 in compatible with tetragonal KH2PO4. It was found that the low frequency relaxational dispersion plays a major role in the domain freezing of CsH2PO4.
