Función del síntoma en la estructura psíquica

Abstract

Este trabajo se propone hacer un breve desarrollo sobre el lugar que ocupa, para Freud, el síntoma en la estructura psíquica, para luego situar qué es lo que plantea de él en el final de la cura. Freud da varias definiciones del síntoma, pero, para el fin de esta investigación, se tomará una sola de ellas —la que da en el “Proyecto”—, donde dice que el síntoma es un símbolo mnémico. La hipótesis del trabajo es la siguiente: si esta definición no deja deslizar la idea de una función soporte del síntoma en la constitución de la estructura psíquica. Partiendo de este punto, surge la pregunta por el recorrido de un análisis para Freud. La entrada es por el síntoma. Pero, ¿qué hay de él al final? Freud donne plusieurs définitions du symptôme, mais pour cette recherche, l’on ne prendra qu'une d’entre elles —celle donné par Freud dans le « Project» — où il dit que le symptôme est un symbole mnémique. L’hypothèse du travail est la suivante : si cette définition ne laisse glisser l’idée d’une fonction soutient du symptôme dans la construction psychique. À partir de là, la question sur le parcours d’une analyse pour Freud apparaît. ROLE OF THE SYMPTOM IN THE PSYCHIC STRUCTURESummaryThis work intends to make a brief survey about the role played by the symptom, according to Freud, in the psychic structure, and then to place what he sets out about it at the end of the cure. Freud gives several definitions of symptom but, for this research’s aim, only one of them will be taken: that given in the "Project", where he states it is a mnemic symbol. The hypothesis of the work is as follows: if this definition doesn’t allow the idea of a symptom with a supporting role in the constitution of the psychic structure to slip in. From this point, the question about Freud's route for an analysis comes up. The way in is through the symptom.
