Integrated reciprocating optical modulator for stable photonic millimetre-wave generation

Abstract

We investigated stability of millimetre-waves generated by using an integrated reciprocating optical modulator consisting of two optical filters and an optical modulator. The amplitude fluctuation was less than 1% without using feedback stabilization techniques.
