The Mn-rich Mn50-xFexNi39.5Sn10.5 (x = 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) alloys were prepared and studied for their magnetic and magnetocaloric properties. The martensitic transition temperature was found to increase with increasing the Fe content in these alloys. A large change in magnetic entropy (∼13.42 J/kg K) was achieved in the sample with x = 2 near 210 K due to a field change of only 16 kOe which decreased in both side of increasing and decreasing the Fe content in this alloy family. The observed results were discussed considering the different magnetic interactions present in these alloys.
