espanolEste articulo analiza las migraciones interiores que tuvieron lugar durante la modernizacion economica de Espana, aproximadamente desde mediados del siglo XIX hasta la guerra civil. En concreto, se tienen en cuenta los siguientes aspectos: la evolucion de las tasas migratorias, la distribucion espacial de los emigrantes, las causas y los efectos de los movimientos migratorios. EnglishThis paper examines the internal migrations that took place during the economic modernization of Spain, from the middle of the nineteenth century to the Spanish civil war. The following aspects of the process are analysed: the evolution of migration rates, the spatial distribution of migrants, and the causes and effects of migrations.
